Elgg version: 1.8.3
I've noticed that some of the css forces the size of the icon to a default even though the config sets a different size. One of the examples would be .elgg-avatar-small > a > img
I was wondering if we could just use config in the css file?

My opinion would actually be that height/width should be set on the img element, not in css. .elgg-avatar-small can just set the radius of the rounded coers or something.
There is no visual feedback for selecting an autocomplete item with the keyboard. Something like below would work:
ul.ui-autocomplete > li.ui-menu-item > a.ui-state-hover {
display: block;
border: 1px solid gray;
}
